Rangers,
We are so thankful for everyone that came out on Thursday and made the trip to Abilene on Friday to support our Rangers. This week all our teams start a new season. District 25-6A starts this week for our football teams and we are excited about the challenge. Please notice that McNeil does not have a JV Black team, so we were able to schedule a game with Marble Falls on Thursday at 6pm at Marble Falls HS for our JV Black. The JV Red game time was also changed to 6pm at McNeil.
5:00pm 9th Black vs McNeil @ Ranger Stadium
7:00pm 9th Red vs McNeil @ Ranger Stadium
6:00pm JV Black vs Marble Falls @ MF Stadium
6:00pm JV Red vs McNeil @ McNeil Stadium
We have three weeks left in the six weeks. Please continue to encourage our Rangers to take advantage of the Ranger Time tutorial sessions. We are going to ask every player in our program to attend 2 tutorials this week during Ranger Time, after school, or before school.
We are continuing to ask that each athlete bring their own water container each day to practice much like they did in 2020. We will have water sources to refill those containers should they require a refill.
This week is homecoming week for our Ranger family. Please join us on Wednesday for the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally that starts at VRHS and ends at Gupton Stadium. We are asking each varsity player to bring a bag of candy for the parade this week. You can send this to school with them on Monday or Tuesday preferably. This is an awesome event for all our friends and family to come and enjoy. Have a great week. Go Rangers!
