Ranger Nation,
The players worked extremely hard this past week in the weight room. Many of them were very sore from their hard work. We encouraged them to stretch on their own to help work some of this soreness out. We took a huge step forward on establishing the foundation of our phase I offseason program. Our extra lifting sessions were well attended, and we are establishing that culture of “In order to be great you have to put in the work.” This week we also had them rotating with locker room clean up responsibilities and they are doing a great job keeping our facilities/locker room looking clean and sharp. This week we will have the weight room open on Monday (8-10am) and Tuesday-Wednesday (10-12am). We are opening for kids that are in town this week to continue their lifting. For those that are traveling, we encouraged them to do some body weight activities (push-ups, squats, lunges, chair dips) to help stay in shape.
Varsity Banquet:

Thank you to the players and parents who were able to help with concessions this past Friday at Gupton. We had a fun time and were able to help raise funds for the football booster club.
