Many thanks go out to all our fans who cheered and supported the Rangers on Thursday and Friday this past week. Our Rangers played tough ball and are showing great improvement every week. We enjoy watching them get better from week to week. There are a few changes to this week’s schedule. Hutto has cancelled their JV B team because of losing too many players to grades. As a result, our JV Black team will be open this week again. We have also had to adjust the start time for the JV Red game at Hutto to 5 pm. Please see the changes listed below.

*Breast Cancer Awareness: Players wanting to honor and support those who have battled or are battling breast cancer can wear pink clothing (wrist bands, socks, spats, bands, etc.) during our games this week. We are asking that if they want to wear these items, they must bring $5 to donate to the Susan G Komen Foundation.

Game Information
Hutto Memorial Stadium: Due to ongoing construction on the Home Side of the stadium, all athletes and fans must enter on the Visitor Side of the stadium. Parking for team buses and fans will be sectioned for easy access to and from the stadium. Please see attached map below for details.

Tickets: Hutto ISD has moved to an online cashless ticket sales system. All tickets must be purchased online for both home and visiting fans using the following link. A generated QR code ticket link will be available at the entrance for onsite online purchases. Tickets are now available to the public.

Gates: Visitor Side entrance will open to the public at 4:30 pm. Athletes, coaches, and fans will enter on the Visitor Side of the stadium.
Clear Bag Policy: All Hutto ISD venues will observe a Clear Bag Policy to enhance existing security measures. Please see attached diagram below for more details.
Outside Food, Drinks & Coolers: Food and drinks are not allowed into the stadium. This will also include YETIs and other similar items as such. Concession stands will be available on the South end of the stadium near the restrooms.
Passes: THSCA & UIL Passes along with Hutto Gold Cards will be accepted. Hutto ISD employees receive one free admission ticket and children ages 4 and under are free.
Photography and Media: If you have a team photographer, please have them email our Stadium Manager at christopher.elquist@huttoisd.net.
Post-Game: Due to ongoing construction, fans will be expected to leave immediately and will not be given access to the players on the track and/or field.
Looking ahead:
Next Week we will be participating in the VRHS Trunk or Treat in the student parking lot at Vista Ridge HS on Monday, Oct 25th (5:30 to 7:30 pm). VR football will be sponsoring a spot in the Trunk or Treat lot and we are asking players to donate a bag of candy if they are able to for this event. In addition, we are helping to support Hill Country Community Ministries by donating a canned food item or non-perishable food item to the food truck that will be at the Trunk or Treat event. Candy and canned food items can be dropped off at school by players any day this week. This should be a great community event and we are looking forward to it.
