Things seem to be moving at hyper speed as we get closer to the end of the school year. We are set and ready for another full week to get after it. We will continue a similar structure of practice times this week with one change. We have moved the Wednesday practice from the morning to the afternoon because of our juniors taking the US History EOC Exam in the morning. Also, any 9th graders taking the Algebra I EOC Exam on Tuesday will not be attending practice in the morning because of this Algebra I EOC Exam. The plan is to again scrimmage the 9th graders in 1st block athletics on Thursday to help maximize repetitions for our younger players. All 2nd block athletics athletes will scrimmage after school on Thursday. Our Spring Football Fundraiser will be after school on Tuesday. Last week we sent home a football supporter contact sheet with each player to complete. We are asking the players to list the contact information for their biggest supporters i.e. “parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends, business associates and neighbors.” The coaches will collect these on Monday 5/9. Our fundraiser kickoff event will be after school on Tuesday, (5/10) starting at 4:30 pm in the cafeteria and will be a player only event. *Please note: This Friday our Sports Medicine Team will be offering on campus sports physicals for $20. Please see the attached flyer for more details. Every athlete will need a yearly physical to participate in summer strength and conditioning camp and the fall football season.
