Part of the community for 30 years
With a calling to return to their roots, David Quintanilla and family joined together to open their first Serranos restaurant in 1987. Featuring hand-shaken margaritas, mesquite grilled meats, and dishes that both honored and reinvented traditional Mexican recipes, Serranos became an instant standout in Austin.
Since the very beginning, we’ve been committed to changing the way people think about “Mexican food.” To us, authenticity means sourcing the freshest ingredients, treating guests like family, and always opting for “from scratch” over shortcuts.
Now with four family owned and operated locations—Mopac, Southpark Meadows, Lakeline, and Cedar Park—the growing Serranos family continues to serve guests our vision of Mexican food, drinks, and a good time.
